  • Competition Cheerleading – ELEMENTARY TEAM 2020-2021

    Competition Cheerleading – Elementary Team 2020-2021 Grades 2-5 The Elementary level of competitive cheer focuses on establishing good motion, jump, stunt and dance technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. The team will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels. This is a team that will focus on developing a love for cheer, learning new skills, improving current skills, and will train in technique for jumps, motions, stunting, and dance. Skills performed will be more adapted to each athlete's ability level (extended stunts, one legged stunts, etc). This team will compete in the elementary division and competes locally (October through early February). There is an additional required cost associated with the Elementary Team. Practices: Mondays and Fridays. Friday practices begin in September. Schedules will be provided by the Program Director. Fees: $62.00 due at time of registration for August practice expenses. Additional payments are required and the amounts are subject to change each month as practice schedules change due to COVID-19 guidelines, and if competitions are allowed to take place. Amounts will be communicated to families each month prior to an automatic withdrawal. Withdrawals will occur on September 1, October 1, November 1, December 1, and January 1.   • Competition Cheerleading – MINI & PEE WEE TEAMS 2020-2021

    Competition Cheerleading – Mini & Pee Wee Teams - 2020-2021 Ages 3 – Grade 1 The Mini and Pee Wee levels of competitive cheer focuses on introducing cheer skills, such as good motion, jump, stunt and dance technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. The teams will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels. Athletes will be divided into two teams at the beginning of the season. Both teams are open enrollment and no experience is required. Teams will practice once a week in August through January. Exhibition are local (October through January). Mini This team is our youngest team – 3 and 4 year old. The Mini team typically has a slower paced routine that is added onto throughout the season. Stunting levels are basic knee/thigh stands. Tumbling skills are typically forward rolls and cartwheels. Exhibitions are local (October – January) at high school gyms. Pee Wee This team is our older team – Kindergartners & 1st graders. The Pee Wee team typically has a slightly faster paced routine that is added onto throughout the season. Stunting levels are two and one footed thigh stands, moving into preps, teddy bears, etc. Tumbling skills are typically forward rolls, cartwheels and round-offs. Exhibitions are local (October – January) at high school gyms. Practices: Tuesdays: August to January. Program Director will send out schedule. Fees: $41.00 due at time of registration for August practice expenses. Additional payments are required and the amounts are subject to change each month as practice schedules change due to COVID-19 guidelines, and if competitions are allowed to take place. Amounts will be communicated to families each month prior to an automatic withdrawal. Withdrawals will occur on September 1, October 1, November 1, December 1, and January 1.
