    Multiplayer Minecraft Virtual Camps! These Saturday virtual tech camps are designed for youth who love Minecraft! These camps provide a safe opportunity for youth to collaborate and play online while building skills in design, map building, and coding. Each class is lead by an experienced Tech Academy instructor! Technical Requirements For Each Class: ●Computer: PC (Windows XP or later) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM will not work on chromebook, tablets or phones ●Internet: Broadband internet with at least 1.5Mbps download and 600Kbps upload speeds. ●Webcam ●Microphone and Speakers ●Google Meet ●Minecraft Java Edition Multiplayer Minecraft: City Builder March 6 & 13, 8-10am Grades: 1st-6th $79 YS21-MMCity Builder Collaborate with fellow students to construct a city! Learn to tame the world of Minecraft by creating automated factories and farms, using different automation mods. Students will get a copy of the world to continue development at home. Advanced Minecraft: Command Block April 10 & 17, 8-10am Grades: 3rd-7th $79 YS21-MMCommand Block Get ready to wire up your Minecraft worlds with command blocks and Redstone! Even if you're a seasoned Minecraft pro, there's plenty for you to learn. From basic traps to powered machines, Redstone offers Minecraft players a whole new range of opportunities to create amazing things. Minecraft’s command block is a pseudo-programming language that consists of logic and execution written in text. We'll learn to spawn creatures, teleport all over your world, and make multiplayer games. Minecraft: Battle the Ender Dragon May 1 & 8, 9-12pm Grades: 2nd-6th $109 YS21-MMEnder Dragon Get ready to face the biggest challenge in Minecraft, defeating The Ender Dragon. Work collaboratively with students to brainstorm and develop strategies to defeat this enemy. Learn techniques to create tools, prep equipment, gather resources, brew potions, use enchantments, craft armor to use in battle.

Each class is lead by an experienced Tech Academy instructor on Google Meet! Scratch is a drag-and-drop creative coding platform developed by MIT. Students will be instructed to make a Mario Kart - style game. Then pick custom characters, track to customize their games. Extreme Coding: Mario Frogger February 27, 9-11 am Grades: 3rd-6th $39 YW21-EC Mario Frogger Learn the fundamentals of coding with Scratch by creating a Nintendo theme frogger game. Inspire your student to pursue today’s most exciting technologies. Scratch uses colorful, visual blocks that fit together like legos.
