Attendance Policy

If your child cannot attend the program for which you registered, please notify Community Education as soon as possible. Participants who are absent without advance notice will risk losing their spot for any additional camps they are registered to attend.

Transportation and Food

Free bus transportation will be available from 6 pick-up locations at Akin Road Elementary, Ardmor Village, Countryview of Lakeville, Farmington Elementary, North Trail Elementary and Riverview Elementary. If your child plans to ride the bus, please indicate their pick up location during registration. At this time you may also request a free bagged lunch for your youth.

Incoming Grades 9-12

Art in Nature Emily Dean - Muddy Waters Studio Incoming grades 9-12 This camp will combine the farm experience, nature, and art. We will spend the day at Green Crescent Acres. Here we will learn a little about caring for animal friends like goats & chickens. We will take a walk around the acreage to find some art that mother nature makes. We will have bagged lunch, and then create some paint/multimedia projects inspired by the animals and nature. This opportunity is available to all students that are currently enrolled in the ISD 192 school district. Mobile App Inventors
Incoming Grades 9-12

Mobile App Inventors Stem Builders Incoming grades 9-12 Put your creative powers to work designing and building fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets. This camp focuses on the Fundamentals of App development. Students learn the process of design, develop, and test apps. This opportunity is available to all students that are currently enrolled in the ISD 192 school district. Sea Life and Fly Over America (9-12)

Sea Life and Fly Over America Noah Grothe Incoming grades 9-12 Come join us at the Mall of America for Sea Life, Minnesota's biggest aquarium, and Fly Over America, a ride that has you soar through America's most iconic locations. In between these events, we will explore the mall for all that it has to offer. Bring money for lunch and shopping as desired. This opportunity is available to all students that are currently enrolled in the ISD 192 school district. Ziplining at Sand Creek Adventures Noah Grothe Incoming grades 9-12 Sand Creek Adventures features a multi-zipline course soaring over the beautiful Jordan, MN. Students will get to ride 3 large ziplines and try their hand at a low-ropes course at ground level. MN Zoo: Ocean Commotion MN Zoo Incoming grades 9-12 Ocean Commotion- Welcome to a world of constant change! Meet the creatures of this wonderful watery world and the professionals that care for them as you explore their awesome abilities to survive and thrive—despite all the commotion. Youth will spend a half day at this camp and the other half at the zoo. Please note that transportation will not be provided after this extended trip so a pick up from Bockman Middle School at 3pm will need to be arranged.
