    DASH Sports Ages 6-9 DASH Sports lacrosse camps provide participants an introductory experience to the game. Athletes will learn basic lacrosse fundamentals including stick handling, cradling, passing, and shooting, all in a fun, non-checking environment. This is a non-contact camp, helmets and gloves are not required, but can be brought with and worn. Sticks and balls are provided.

Multi-Sport (FULL DAY) DASH Sports Summer FULL DAY Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Athletes will spend roughly 1.5 hours learning and practicing each sport per day. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports including: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and more! Also included daily are fun games such as Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Kickball, and more! Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills.     DASH Sports Incoming Grades K-5 DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: sprinting, throwing (javelin and shot put), relay running, long jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. All players will be timed/tested on the first and last day. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance.     Destination Mars: Rocketry Course

    Youth Enrichment League {YEL!} Incoming Grades 2-5 Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Do you have the right stuff? Whether aspiring to be the next big star or simply seeking to explore the art of storytelling, our drama class is the perfect stage for young actors to shine. The final day the students will perform a short Variety Show for family and friends!

  • Drivers Education (2023-2024)

    A+ Driving School Students may start classroom driving lessons at age 14, take the Knowledge Test and obtain their Instruction Permit at age 15, and take the Road Test and obtain their Provisional License at age 16. To be eligible to take the Road Test, students must have had their Instruction Permit for a minimum of six months. The Driver's Education Program is divided into two phases: Classroom Phase This phase includes the required 30 hours of classroom instruction that prepares the student to take the Minnesota permit test and to take on the responsibility of driving. If a lesson is missed, a make-up lesson can be arranged with the office at either the next Farmington session or at another A+ session. This portion can be taken virtually or in-person. Behind-the-Wheel Phase After students pass the permit test, they are required to complete six hours of driving lessons. The lessons are provided in three, two-hour lessons. The lessons are one-on-one instruction with instructors licensed through the MN Dept. of Public Safety. Students can be picked up from and dropped off at home, school or work. Detailed information about scheduling the behind-the-wheel lessons will be provided. Can't Make Every Lesson? If you miss a lesson, you are responsible for making up that exact lesson number. You can attend any A+ classroom or any community education program to make up a missed lesson. Please call A+ the office the day before so we can add the student to the attendance roster. Disclaimer: This contract expires 2 years from the first day of classroom training or when the student turns 18, whichever occurs first. All classes and BTW lessons must be completed before the expiration date. The Driver's Education program is offered as a package (classroom instruction & behind the wheel lessons) and cannot be separated. Fees $420 per student includes classroom instruction, materials and behind-the-wheel training. Permit and road exam fees are not included. The option is also available to pay $210 at the time of registration and be charged the remaining $210 the first day of class.   • Extreme Robotics: Battlebots

    Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 This camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO® building system's versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO®). Working each day in teams, students will construct fun LEGO® models, experiment with programs, and compete in robotic challenges. Robot building, block programming, and teamwork will be part of each day's activities. The final challenges will be centered around hitting targets and a sumo battle. Students will be working in small teams of 2-3.

    Bryanna Nelson and FFA Students Incoming Grades 6-9 Do you ever wonder how your food gets on your plate? How about how the clothes you pick out in the morning get produced? In Farm to Table, we will explore plant food products like salad greens, salsa, and maple syrup, how to preserve the harvest with methods like canning and fermentation, animal production, wool and fiber production, and more! After taking this course, not only will you know how your food gets to your table and your clothes on your back, but you will also walk away with recipes and a guidebook on how to start and run a small homestead! Participants should bring a labeled water bottle and nut-free snack.
