  • Gymnastics - Competitive Pre-Team

    The Girls Pre-team is an invitation-only program that provides an opportunity for those girls who show natural talent and/or a strong enthusiasm for competitive gymnastics. This program focuses primarily on proper technique, flexibility, and strength.  Gymnasts must be assessed into this class.

  • High School Free Running

    Have you ever wanted to learn how to flip off the wall or run through objects instead of around them?  Then this class is for you!  Students will be safely introduced to the basic movements of free running including rolling, vaulting, landing, wall tricks, tumbling, bars and more.  This class helps to build strength, endurance, speed & balance in a safe environment.
  • Holiday Bake and Take

    Get your holiday baking done in no time at all! You’ll take home ten varieties of cookies including: Andes Mint, Lemon Crinkles, M&M, Molasses, Peanut Blossoms, Cherry Poppyseed, Peppermint Meltaways, Holiday Bells, and Peanut Butter Balls. Our new cookie this year is Sprinkled Sugar Cookies! You’ll go home with ten dozen cookies in all.In this hands-on class you will be working in pairs. You’ll be provided with cookie dough and everything you need to form, trim, and decorate the cookies. Your cookies will be baked for you by Nancy’s team in large commercial ovens. Hairnets and gloves will be provided, but bring your own apron. And most important, don’t forget to bring containers to carry home your ten dozen treats. Please arrive on time and plan on staying the full three hours, as well as assisting with clean-up at the end of class. Due to safety restrictions, and out of respect for the adult attendees, no children are allowed in or near the class. You may send someone in your place if you are ill, cannot find child care, etc. Cookies will not be provided for no-shows. There will be a $14 food supply fee payable to the instructor in class. We are sorry, we cannot accommodate nut allergies in this class.
  • Holiday Homes of Hudson, Wisconsin

    Tour five homes decorated for the holidays, in and around Hudson. Homes range from turn of the century to newer residences. The 1854 historic Octagon House is showcased each year allowing guests to view an old-fashioned holiday celebration. Meet friendly volunteers or homeowners, enjoy viewing vintage, traditional, and modern decor. Dining room tables are set with china, crystal, and stunning centerpieces. Bedrooms to bathrooms, each decorated for the holidays and open for you to view. Gain new decorating ideas as you meander from room to room. Enjoy lunch at an 1866 church where you will enjoy soup, a hot beef sandwich, and delicious homemade pie! Spend some time shopping at the church boutique and a craft sale. Fee includes five holiday decorated homes, lunch (inclusive), coach bus, treat, and escort. Optional purchases on your own.     Back by popular demand! Want to work towards your life long dream of being on SNL? Want to see how you do at improvisational comedy? Drama Lab is an inclusive, hilarious environment to make friends while playing improv games and creating skits together. Aaron Strawn founded Drama Lab in 2018 to help students find a place that was fun and where they felt they belonged. Students from Dodge can report directly to the cafeteria after school to check in. Boeckman students may ride the activity bus over to Dodge right after school to participate.

    This all time favorite class offers a perfect overview of popular Latin dances. The Rumba will have a box step with slow, quick counts, and turns. All smooth and easy to do. The Cha-Cha uses a rock-step and a Polka step, plus an easy turn or two. Promenades and slow and quick steps all done to easy movements. Couples only. Price per person.
  • Life Time Rock Climbing

    Life Time FitnessMini Monkeys Ages 5-6, Tuesdays 6-7 pmDoes your youth want to rock climb? This class is designed especially for them and focuses on getting them comfortable with climbing. Youth will learn about body movement, basic technique, top rope climbing, as well as the importance of climbing safety. Classes are taught by experienced instructors who will help in catering lessons to your child’s skill and comfort level. This class is perfect if you are looking at giving your child their first exposure to rock climbing. Cliff Hangers I Ages 7-11, Thursdays 5-6 pmDoes your youth want to learn to rock climb? This entry level climbing course is designed to introduce young climbers to the sport. Lessons are designed to help improve climbers’ abilities through goal setting and understanding of fundamental technique, as well as prepare them for more advanced classes. Every lesson includes a fun climbing game designed to help improve technique.Cliff Hangers II Ages 7-11, Thursdays 6-7 pmHas your youth already taken Cliff Hangers I? Now they have a chance to take their climbing further! Gravity Ages 12-17 , Tuesdays 5-6 pmhis class is meant for climbers old enough to come into the climbing area on their own and those who want to become better climbers. This course covers terminology, Auto-Belay safety, entry level top rope climbing, and bouldering. Climbers will also learn how to Top Rope belay, a crucial climbing skill they can use in and outside of class. This course is divided into two sections, the first portion covers climbing basics and familiarizes climbers with the wall, while the second section delves into technique and skill development.Classes are located at Life Time Fitness. Please wear active clothing and tennis shoes.
  • Middle School Co-Ed Intramural Basketball 19-20

    Middle School Co-Ed Intramural BasketballGrades 6-8Intramural sports provide a safe, enjoyable environment for students of any skill level to participate in a variety of recreational activities. Participants will focus on the fundamentals of the game, enhance skills, discover the value and importance of good sportsmanship, and have fun. Adult supervisors will lead practices and skills sessions once a week. The goal is to have gender separate games and practices if enrollment allows.Practices and games will take place at Boekman Middle School on Mondays and Dodge Middle School on Wednesdays. Open gym will take place from 2:30 to 3 until everyone arrives, and practice will start at 3. Youth will need to ride the activity bus after school to go to the correct destination. The activity bus leaves Boeckman around 2:30 and then returns to Dodge around 2:45.

  • Music Academy - High School Age Voice Lessons 2019-2020

    High School Age Voice Lessons 2019-2020During private one-on-one voice lessons students will work on the basics of singing, posture, breathing, performance-skills, and optional sight reading. Fees include access to the vocal library, but additional fees apply if youth want to perform music outside of the library. Instructor will provide information about purchasing additional sheet music. These private lessons are designed for high school aged students. Instructor:Dr. Luke Williams has been described in performance as “masterfully communicative”, “powerful”, and “menacing and moving”. A versatile singing actor who has had success performing both classical and contemporary repertoire, Dr. Williams has performed with Skylark Opera, Out of the Box Opera, LOON opera, and Lyric Opera of the North in Minnesota, in addition to serving as a visiting assistant professor on the voice faculty of St. Olaf College for the 2018-2019 academic year. In 2017 he completed his doctorate in vocal pedagogy and performance at the University of Colorado, where he performed professionally with the Colorado Symphony in productions of The Music Man and Tosca. Other professional highlights include performances with Opera Delaware, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater, Middle America Freedom Band, Delaware Symphony Orchestra, Boulder Chamber Orchestra, and the Delaware Valley Chorale.Students of Dr. Williams have had placed in and won numerous competitions, including district solo competitions, NATS competitions and the $8,000 Petri Scholarship in Portland, Oregon. Outside of teaching students the most healthy and sustainable way to use their voices, Dr. Williams enjoys playing ice hockey, hiking and backpacking with his wife, barbecuing, and woodworking.

  • Ninja Camp

    This camp is for you! Ninjas must be in uniform and bring a snack and water bottle.  Class goals: Listening skills, confidence, trying new things, working through frustration, and manners. We do all this through a strategic mix of skills and progressions.
  • Open Pickleball

    Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, and ping pong played by four people on a badminton sized court with paddles and a plastic polyball. It may have a silly name, but it's great exercise, easy to learn, and lots of fun! Games are organized and arranged by the players. Equipment is supplied. 
  • Paint Like Bob Ross - The Cardinal

    You may remember Bob Ross from his "Joy of Painting" series on PBS. The "Wet-on-Wet Technique" of painting is for all skill levels, as well as for those who have never painted before. Kristi Nelson, a certified Ross instructor, will demo the step-by-step painting techniques, answer questions, and help you with those techniques. You'll complete an entire painting to take home and hang. Be amazed at how much fun and enjoyment this painting technique will give you! $15 supply fee due to teacher in class. 
  • Peek-A-Boo Cupcakes

    This Halloween, all eyes will be on the cupcakes that look back at you! Learn how to create cute monsters and ghouls for your Halloween party! Recommended for adults and children aged 10 and up. Please bring 6-12 cupcakes and a container to bring them home in. Instructor will supply frosting and tools needed for this course. Need cupcakes provided?
