Empower Program Benefits: Caring and qualified coaches Appropriate coach:child ratio Weekly communication with families Curriculum that provides differentiation for children and their needs Visuals to enhance children's understanding Safe environment to try new things Opportunity for character development and building relationships Time to focus on fun and positive growth Empower Parent Testimonial: "Soccer Shots means so much to special needs children who do not regularly get the chance to play on a sports team. Finley has "classic" autism and we have worked so hard to give him confidence in his life, since many children with autism struggle with anxiety. Soccer Shots makes him feel like he's on top of the world. It gives him confidence, while playing and working within boundaries. He loves making goals, and I know that will translate to other goals in his life as he grows. He's also getting to the stage in life where he is beginning to see he is different from typical children. Soccer is a game that bridges the differences, and it gives him something in common with typical children. Thank you for all you do!" -Sarah B., Parent If you have additional questions, please reach out to Youth Program Coordinators at youthenrichment@farmington.k12.mn.us or call 651-460-3200.
