    Abrakadoodle Adventures in Art Grades K-5 Sample lots of different kinds of art in this fun and creative camp. We’ll use paper mâché, clay, canvas, chalk, paint and more to create some fabulous art. Make a colorful paper mâché donut, sculpt some silly snails, learn how to make prints with your own print plate, paint a canvas, and more. Bring a beverage and a nut-free snack. Register early, this camp is sure to fill quickly.

  • Backyard Birds Camp

    Tracy Crofoot Grades K-5 Backyard Birds camp is a great summer activity for your bird enthusiast! Campers will go on a journey of discovery and learn about Minnesota’s most common backyard bird species. They will learn about bird identification, habitats, diet, behavior, and migration. Weather permitting, campers will get ‘back to nature’ by venturing outside making their own observations and discoveries just like a naturalist! We will be taking a survey of local bird species and report our findings to local scientists. Campers will learn more about becoming a Citizen Scientist and how they can contribute to conservation too.

    Tracy Crofoot Grades K-5 Beautiful Butterflies camp is a great summer activity for your butterfly enthusiast! Campers will go on a journey of discovery and learn about the wonderful world of butterflies and moths! They will learn about the butterfly’s lifecycle, diet, behavior and migration. Weather permitting, campers will get ‘back to nature’ by venturing outside making their own observations and discoveries just like a naturalist! We will be taking a survey of the butterfly species in the flower gardens and reporting our findings to local scientists. Campers will learn more about becoming a Citizen Scientist and how they can contribute to butterfly conservation too.

  • Clayful Creations Clay Camp

    Abrakadoodle Ages 5-11 If you love clay this is the camp for you. Learn all about sculpting, color-mixing, and decorative design. This summer, we’ll make 3D clay cupcakes, cool coil pots, airdry clay owls with a bright oil pastel finish, a gentle giraffe, clay faces, and more. We’ll use air dry and model magic clay, unique materials, and clay tools to create our sculptures. Bring a beverage and a nut free snack.

    DASH Sports Ages K-6 DASH Sports Summer Athleticism camps provide participants with an overall athleticism building camp experience including speed training, agility, endurance, body control/balance, quickness, strength, power, and jumping. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall athletic performance. Campers should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic clothing and shoes.

Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills.     Destination Mars: Rocketry Course

    Youth Enrichment League {YEL!} Incoming Grades 2-5 Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Do you have the right stuff?   • Extreme Robotics: Battlebots

    Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 This camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO® building system's versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO®). Working each day in teams, students will construct fun LEGO® models, experiment with programs, and compete in robotic challenges. Robot building, block programming, and teamwork will be part of each day's activities. The final challenges will be centered around hitting targets and a sumo battle. Students will be working in small teams of 2-3.
