Babysitting Basics Course (Ages 11–15)
Participants must be at least 11 years old by the date of the class.

Gain the skills and confidence you need to become a trusted babysitter in your neighborhood! This fun, hands-on 5-hour course is designed for youth ages 11–15 and focuses on safety, responsibility, and professionalism.

What you’ll learn:

• How to care for infants and children, including feeding, handling, and diapering
• Basic first aid and safety practices
• Understanding child behavior
• Fun and age-appropriate activity ideas
• Emergency procedures and how to respond
• Leadership and communication skills
• Tips on starting and growing your babysitting business

Each participant will receive a digital certificate of completion from Community Education will be emailed within 10 business days.

Please bring a lunch, water bottle, and snacks.
