The Farmington School District is providing Early Childhood Screening for preschoolers. All students entering kindergarten in a Minnesota public school need to have proof of having attended an Early Childhood Screening. All children have the right to receive a FREE Early Childhood Screening starting preferably at age 3. Children can be also screened at age 4 and 5. The purpose of the screening is to provide parents with general information about their child’s growth and development and to connect families with resources in the community. Children who attend Head Start or Early Childhood Special Education programs may not need to be screened. The Early Childhood Screening appointments are held on select Wednesdays throughout the year between 9 am-4 pm. Parents or guardians will stay will their children during the entire screening process. *Click here Screening Forms to download and complete the required forms and bring them to your appointment.
