Early Childhood Screening February 13Early Childhood ScreeningWe require that you complete some forms before coming. We will email these to you prior to your screening appointment. Please make sure the email address on file is correct. Please reschedule your appointment if you or anyone in your household has been recently ill. The Farmington School District is providing Early Childhood Screening for children. All students entering kindergarten in a Minnesota public school need to have proof of having attended an Early Childhood Screening. All children have the right to receive a FREE Early Childhood Screening starting preferably at age 3. Children can be also screened at age 4 and 5. The purpose of the screening is to provide parents with general information about their child’s growth and development and to connect families with resources in the community. Children who attend Head Start or Early Childhood Special Education programs may not need to be screened. Interpreters are provided at no cost to families.
