DASH Sports Grades K-5 Multi-Sport (SC, FF, BK) DASH Sports Summer Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports so athletes will come out of camp with a great understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle, snack and wear athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided. DASH Sports Incoming Grades K-5 DASH Sports summer baseball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle, snack, and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Baseballs and bats are provided. Gina Mayer, Mayer Arts, Inc. Ages 7-12 Let’s go to Oz! We will choose our characters, learn music and choreography from Wicked and create our own musical. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! We will also play fun, creative theater games. All that is needed are comfortable clothing and shoes, a nut free snack and a water bottle. Friends and family are invited to a special performance beginning the final 30 minutes of the final class!

Kidcreate Studios! Ages 5-12 This is NOT a project you want your kids doing at home! Send your kids to class to make a tie-dyed shirt that they will wear all summer long. Children must bring their own white t-shirt to class. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.

Kidcreate Studios! Ages 5-12 Calling all Robloxians! Take a step out of the virtual world and into the coolest art camp ever! We’ll create with clay, paint, and more as we sculpt a classic Roblox Noob. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or more of a Noob, this is the perfect camp for you. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.

Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 Use MCreator to create your own mods based off your favorite superheroes. Design unique superhero abilities and tools for Minecraft Java Edition. Students should have basic reading skills and be comfortable using a computer. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. Minecraft is a Mojang Studios trademark. Tech Academy Incoming Grades 1-5 Embark on a week of Nintendo-themed STEAM adventures. You'll work together to code, animate, and build games. Create your own Super Mario Odyssey-inspired mini-movie, build immersive sets, and solve engaging challenges. This program is perfect for students who want to develop their creative and technical skills. It's a fantastic way to learn and have fun! Students should have basic reading skills. Kidcreate Studios! Ages 5-12 Vibrant colors and slime collide in a kaleidoscope of creativity! In this dynamic camp, kids embark on a colorful journey as they master the art of tie-dyeing. The excitement continues as they delve into the world of slime, concocting their own oozy, stretchy, and mesmerizing concoctions. From tie-dyed shirts to custom slime creations, this camp is a hands-on adventure that encourages self-expression and messy fun. These are not projects you want to do at home! Drama Lab Incoming grades 1-5 Drama Lab is a creative place where budding performers unleash their imagination and hone their acting skills. Led by experienced instructors, students explore the exciting world of theatre through engaging activities, improvisation games, character development, and scene work. The last day of class, families are invited to watch a short performance!

{YEL!} Robotics: Scout ‘Bots Entering grades 1st-5th Build and code space rovers to scout out Mars, the moon, and other extraterrestrial environments. Diana Berg Incoming Grades 1-5 Come and learn new skills with your sewing machine! In this camp, youth will learn how to use a sewing machine to complete a standard size pillowcase, then they will use a pattern to create their very own pair of lounge pants, then the final project will cumulate with a letter pillow. Youth must bring their own sewing machine. There are a few available to borrow. Email youthenrichment@farmington.k12.mn.us to reserve one of the available sewing machines!

Tech Academy Incoming Grades 1-5 Work as a team to create a custom theme park in Minecraft. Use creativity and Redstone to create this world! Possible projects include roller coasters, water rides, a trampoline park, an obstacle course, a boat race, bumper boats, a dunk tank, and many more rides and attractions! Students will get a copy of the world map to take home and expand on. We will be using the PC/Java Edition of Minecraft. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. University of MN - Dakota County 4-H Incoming Grades K-5 Join Dakota County 4-H to attend one of our most popular events of the year. Staff are planning a themed camp where you can count on hands-on activities, engaging guest presenters, and games! Please pack your child a lunch (no refrigeration available), water bottle, and sunscreen. A fun camp t-shirt, snacks, and a full day of fun is included! Registration in this camp enrolls your youth in 4-H. No member dues and no other commitments beyond camp.

Sports Sampler (FULL DAY) DASH Sports Summer FULL DAY Sports Sampler camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Athletes will spend roughly 1.5 hours learning and practicing each sport per day. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports including: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and more! Also included daily are fun games such as Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Kickball, and more! Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, lunch, two snacks, and athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided. Tech Academy Incoming Grades 2-6 Build, Battle, and Conquer! Get ready for epic LEGO® model battles in our RC Battles camp! Design, build, and program your own remote-controlled LEGO® models to compete in thrilling challenges. Learn strategies to develop effective tactics for winning battles. Apply engineering principles to design and build models that are both powerful and durable. Students will be working in small teams of 2-3.

Diana Hirte Incoming grades 3-5 This class is so much fun! We will decorate a unicorn cake, sugar cookies, and cake pops to take home.

DASH Sports Incoming grades K-5 DASH Sports Jr. NBA basketball skills camps provide players a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camps end with scrimmages/games on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided. OPTIONAL ADDITION: This camp offers a customized Jr. NBA jersey. Players will select their favorite NBA Team when registering as well as their name and number they'd like on their jersey. Please select "camp +Jersey" option when registering to receive a jersey with the camp. Registration will close on June 30 at 4 pm in order to receive a jersey. Participants can still register after this date, and will not receive a jersey.

Eco Elsa Ages 9-15 Kids will take their fire skills to the next level by not only learning how to make fire and different fire structures but the science of using fire to cook things too! This class will teach all the basics like s’mores and tinfoil packets up to more advanced skills like dutch oven baking and spit roasting over the fire. Your campfire chefs will know how to make full course meals by the end of this class in addition to how to make a fire and manage it safely. Additionally, if your site allows it and there are things in season we may also do some foraging for some of the recipes too! We are working hard to have recipes for all dietary needs that are things kids will enjoy cooking and will be using a lot of raw and unprocessed ingredients and also have vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options for most of the recipes we make. Please let us know if your child has dietary needs beyond this and we will work with you to make alterations when possible! (ages 9+)

Eco Elsa Ages 7-14 There is a lot of science behind the magical stories that are told! Dive into this fantasy focused nature class to learn about the science behind a lot of our favorite mythology and folklore. We will cover everything from mythical creatures and alchemy to herbology and gemology as well as have some kid choice options as well. This class has something for everyone whether you are more of a bookworm or into larping & role playing! Some activities kids will have to look forward to include exploration, mock battles, board games, making things like wands or candles, and more! We look forward to you joining us for this class that combines the human imagination with the science of the natural world!
