Cornerstone on the Vermillion Instructor: Michelle Michaud Ages 4-17 Do you love horses? Our camps are all horses, all the time! Spend time bonding with some incredible show horses. All abilities are welcome to join us for an action packed camp and learn western, English, and bareback riding, horsemanship, groundwork, and training. Participants begin their days with horsemanship skill development, followed by horse training. There will be a one hour lunch break to let the horses rest, and the youth! During this time youth can eat their lunch and enjoy free play with board games, books, and activity sheets. Connecting & partnering with the horses is emphasized throughout each day. Riding multiple horses throughout camp with emphasis on rider safety, core, seat and legs. Each day refreshing all skills learned the previous day. Our camps are coached to develop skills, connection & understanding of these magnificent animals. Please bring a bicycle helmet if you have one, otherwise riding helmets are provided. Participants should bring a bag lunch, water bottle, and snacks. The indoor riding facility is unheated, please dress accordingly.
