Sparks Camps and Clubs are designed for youth grades K-5+. Options include after school, non-school day, and summer camp opportunities in art, movement, drama, science, and technology.

Wicked Musical Theater Camp
Arts and Drama

Gina Mayer, Mayer Arts, Inc. Ages 7-12 Let’s go to Oz! We will choose our characters, learn music and choreography from Wicked and create our own musical. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! We will also play fun, creative theater games. All that is needed are comfortable clothing and shoes, a nut free snack and a water bottle. Friends and family are invited to a special performance beginning the final 30 minutes of the final class!

Dinosaur Camp
Technology and Science

Tracy Crofoot Grades K-5 Dinosaur camp is a great summer activity for your DINO enthusiast! Campers will go on a journey of discovery and learn about creatures that lived during the Cretaceous and Jurassic time periods, millions of years ago. Weather permitting, campers will get ‘back to nature’ by venturing outside making their own observations and discoveries just like a paleontologist! Campers will be digging in the dirt and making crafts every day, so play clothes are recommended.

It's Clay Time!

Abrakadoodle Ages 5-11 This is a shorter version of our Crazy about clay camp. Kids will learn about sculpting, color-mixing and using tools to add texture to your sculpture. We’ll use model magic and air dry clay to make lots of fun creations including Alligators, silly animals and more. Bring a beverage and a nut free snack.

Prepare to concoct elixirs that magically change color, create your own bouncy balls, and whip up some homemade PopRocks that fizz in your mouth. And while having a blast, you'll uncover a wealth of scientific facts and theories, transforming learning into a bubbling cauldron of pure excitement! Sparks Summer Camps

University of MN - Dakota County 4-H Incoming Grades K-5 Join Dakota County 4-H to attend one of our most popular events of the year. Staff are planning a themed camp where you can count on hands-on activities, engaging guest presenters, and games! Please pack your child a lunch (no refrigeration available), water bottle, and sunscreen. A fun camp t-shirt, snacks, and a full day of fun is included! Registration in this camp enrolls your youth in 4-H. No member dues and no other commitments beyond camp.
