    Competition Cheerleading – Mini Team - 2024-2025 Ages 3 – 5 (non-Kindergarten) The Mini level of competitive cheer focuses on introducing cheer skills, such as good motion, jump, stunt and dance technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. The teams will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels. No cheer experience is required to be on this team. Practice will be once a week in August through January. Competitions are local (November through January). Competition schedule will be released in mid-summer.     Cheerleading - Tiger Adaptive Cheer Team Boys and Girls - Grades 6-12 The Tiger Adaptive Cheer team pairs Farmington cheerleaders, Cheer Peers and students with disabilities to create an opportunity to cheer together at several FHS home football and basketball games as well as at local cheer competitions. Football schedule is listed in the Team Information packet. Competition schedules will be released in mid-summer. Basketball games will be scheduled in late fall/early winter.     Competition Cheerleading – Elementary Game Day 2024-2025 Grades 2-5 The Elementary Game Day team is an “add on” team for those participating in either the Elementary Black, Elementary Orange or Elementary White teams. This team focuses on establishing good motion, jump, and crowd leading skills through a band dance, situational sideline, cheer and school song. The team competes locally mid-November through January. Competition schedule will be released mid-summer.     Competition Cheerleading – Middle School Team 2024-2025 Grades 6 - 9 Fall 2024 The Middle School level of competitive cheer teams focuses on establishing good motion, jump, stunt and dance technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. The team will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels. The team will compete at local competitions on Saturdays or Sundays from mid-fall through end of January. Competition schedules will be released in mid-summer.     Competition Cheerleading – Elementary ORANGE Team 2024-2025 Grades 4-5 The Elementary level of competitive cheer focuses on establishing good motion, jump, stunt and dance technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. The team will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels. This is a team that will focus on developing a love for cheer, learning new skills, improving current skills, and will train in technique for jumps, motions, stunting, and dance. Skills performed will be more adapted to each athlete's ability level (extended stunts, one legged stunts, etc). This team will compete in the Elementary or Elementary Advanced division and competes locally (November through through end of January). Competition schedules will be released in mid-summer.     Competition Cheerleading – Elementary Black Team 2024-2025 Grades 2-3 The Elementary Black level of competitive cheer focuses on establishing good motion, jump, stunt and dance technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. The team will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels. This is a novice-intermediate level team that will focus on developing a love for cheer, learning new skills, improving current skills, and will train in technique for jumps, motions, stunting, and dance. Skills performed will be more novice-intermediate level (preps level stunts and progressing to possible extended stunts as the season progresses). They will compete in the Elementary Novice division. Black team competes locally (November through January). Competition schedule will be released in mid-summer.     Competition Cheerleading – Elementary White Team 2024-2025 Grades 2-5 THIS TEAM IS BY INVITATION ONLY The Elementary White level of competitive cheer focuses on establishing good motion, jump, stunt and dance technique as well as learning how to work together as a team. The team will perform skills appropriate to their ability levels. This is a intermediate-advanced level team that will focus on developing a love for cheer, learning new skills, improving current skills, and will train in technique for jumps, motions, stunting, and dance. Skills performed will be more intermediate-advanced level (extended stunts and one legged skills). They will compete in the Elementary or Elementary Advanced division. White team competes locally (October through January) and at UCA Nationals in Orlando, FL. This team requires travel. Competition schedules will be released in mid-summer.
