Flag football provides players with physical exercise, self-discipline, and teamwork skills. Participants will also learn leadership and sportsmanship skills.

Participants will be put in a division by Special Olympics Minnesota, based on ability level and age to give them a competitive experience.

This sport also offers Individual Skills, which gives individual competition for all abilities a chance to compete and showcase the skills they are learning in that sport.

Additional paperwork is required in order to participate in this sport. The Head of Delegation will reach out to athletes after registration with these forms.

Fee Assistance is available for participants. Please complete a form at https://bit.ly/CE192FeeAssistance

Unified Athletes

This sport offers a Unified gameplay. Participants without intellectual disabilities can participate and compete on the same team. This is a voluntary role. Unified Athletes must complete a training found online, by clicking here. Unified Athletes 18 years and older are required to do a background check.
