Farmington Community Education is now facilitating middle school interscholastic (against other middle schools) programs - including track & field. This interscholastic track & field program is for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from Boeckman and Dodge middle schools. The interscholastic programs each include about 20-22 practices in Farmington and 5 track & field meets against other middle schools (like Lakeville, Northfield, New Prague, and more). The purpose of interscholastic programs is participation, involvement, and development of skills beneficial for future success. These skills include Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Cooperation, Loyalty, Goal Setting, Work Ethic, Organization, Self-Discipline, Perseverance, and of course Sportsmanship. Adults lead practices and coach at matches.

Practices will take place at the track at Boeckman Middle School from 4:00-5:30 pm. Dodge Middle School students take the after school activity bus over to Boeckman.

Home meets will take place at Boeckman Middle School. Meets typically go from about 4:15 until between 6:00-6:15.

Please note that there is no school bus (transportation) to or from away meets. Student's parent/guardian is responsible for making travel arrangements to and from away meets.
