Cloverbuds and Sprouts
2025-26
Youth enrolled in grades kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome to attend hands-on, educational workshops hosted by Dakota County 4-H. Once a month older youth leaders, with 4-H staff supervision, design and deliver programming for younger youth. Cloverbuds are grades K-2 and Sprouts are 3-5. Workshops feature age-appropriate programs focusing on non-competitive, safe activities meant to engage youth and create new friendships.
Themed workshop activities include an educational component, a healthy snack, and a craft. Themes and activities vary each month, and are determined at a later date. Past themes have included pollinators, solutions and mixtures, and cooking. Workshops are held from 9-11 a.m. and are held at the Dakota County Extension and Conservation, 4100 220th St. West in Farmington. Attend as few or as many as you like!
