About IGNITE Summer Camps

IGNITE Summer Camps are designed for youth grades 6-9+. Options include art, movement, drama, science, and technology. Camps are typically M-Th 9-12 pm or 1-4 pm and take place throughout the summer.

IGNITE Golf Squad
Recreation and Sports

Golf Squad Grades 6-8 Golf Squad at Levi Dodge Middle School is for both new and continuing students and provides weekly opportunities for your child to learn the technical swing mechanics (i.e. putting, chipping, full swing, etc.) as well as the social skills required to enjoy golf, the clubs, and golf course (i.e. vocabulary, etiquette, rules, history, etc.) all under the instruction of an LPGA or PGA Professional. Golf is a very challenging and fun sport that can lead to college scholarships. So start early and start now...boys and girls! Even if your child already plays, it is great to enjoy weekly, convenient lessons from the pro. Mark Toutge Incoming grades 5-8 Would you like to be an actor in a short film? Would you like to work behind the scenes operating cameras, microphones and lights? If so, we will be filming a brand new short film this summer through Community Education at Farmington High School. Broadcasting and media teacher Mark Toutge will lead students through the process of creating a short film from start to finish. All students should bring a blank flash drive to the camp so they can receive a copy of the finished short film.

Kidcreate Studios Ages 9-14 Welcome to our magical art class where we will be exploring the world of reveal candles! We will be crafting unique candles, infused with your favorite scents, colors, and hidden surprises. With the addition of delightful charms into the warm wax, your child's reveal candle will transform into a stunning masterpiece as the flame slowly burns down and reveals the secret treasures waiting to be discovered within. The possibilities are endless, from sparkling jewels and glittery gems to adorable animals! At the end of this class, your child will have a one-of-a-kind candle!

Wonka Musical Theater Camp
Arts and Drama

Gina Mayer, Mayer Arts, Inc. Ages 7-12 Pure Imagination! Come learn songs and dances from Wonka and put on a musical! Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! All that is needed are comfortable clothing and lightweight sneakers or dance shoes, a nut free snack and a water bottle. Friends and family are invited to a special performance beginning the final 30 minutes of the final class. The Wish Musical Theater Camp is available the same week in the morning for youth ages 4-8! Culinary Arts: Cake Camp!
Arts and Drama

Diana Hirte Incoming grades 6-12 This class will cover it all. We will decorate 2 - 8" cakes, one with buttercream and one with fondant, summertime cupcakes, fancy sugar cookies and some cake pops. Each student will make and take home 2 8" cakes,12 cupcakes, 10 cookies and some cake pops. We will use lots of different tools to learn the art of cake decorating. The student will take home some basic decorating tools to use at home.
