Cornerstone on the Vermillion Instructor: Michelle Michaud Ages 4-17 Do you love horses? Our camps are all horses, all the time! Spend time bonding with some incredible show horses. All abilities are welcome to join us for an action packed camp and learn western, English, and bareback riding, horsemanship, groundwork, and training. Participants begin their days with horsemanship skill development, followed by horse training. There will be a one hour lunch break to let the horses rest, and the youth! During this time youth can eat their lunch and enjoy free play with board games, books, and activity sheets. Connecting & partnering with the horses is emphasized throughout each day. Riding multiple horses throughout camp with emphasis on rider safety, core, seat and legs. Each day refreshing all skills learned the previous day. Our camps are coached to develop skills, connection & understanding of these magnificent animals. Please bring a bicycle helmet if you have one, otherwise riding helmets are provided. Participants should bring a bag lunch, water bottle, and snacks. The indoor riding facility is unheated, please dress accordingly. Tech Academy Incoming Grades 3-7 Unleash Your Ultimate Platform Fighter! Dive into the creation of a Super Smash Bros.-style game using Construct 3, a powerful and user-friendly game development platform. Students will learn how to design, develop, and implement various game mechanics, including character selection, combat systems, item integration, and stage design. Through hands-on projects and guided instruction, participants will learn game development principles and create a dynamic platform game. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle, snack, and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Baseballs and bats are provided. TGA Pickleball (TGA) Ages 6-12 TGA (Teach. Grow. Achieve.) is excited to introduce youth Pickleball classes! Similar to tennis, this fast-paced, ultra-fun, and highly accessible sport is perfect for all ages. With classes held right at school, we teach the fundamentals using real equipment (all provided) and allow students to learn through interactive games, drills, and real matches. Students will also explore relevant academic concepts through gameplay while practicing life skills such as sportsmanship, integrity, and perseverance. TGA creates a safe environment and provides individualized attention, meeting each student where they are in their journey and progression. Tennis, Athletics (TGA) Ages 6-12 Get ready to serve, volley, and rally while having fun with TGA! Our trained and verified coaches combine athletics, academics, and life lessons to create a fun and engaging program. We include sports skill development, rules & etiquette lessons, physical activity, and a STEAM component that examines the concepts through the lens of the sport. All equipment is provided. First-time students receive a TGA Hat and a TGA Student Handbook. Students earn color-coded TGA wristbands at every level. Maximum 10:1 Student-to-Instructor ratio.

FHS Varsity Football Coaches Jon Pieper and Rick Sutton Incoming 1st-9th Grade Football Camps These camps provide the opportunity for youth to develop skills that will prepare them to become successful varsity football players. Athletes will learn offensive and defensive fundamentals from varsity football coaches and players. Coaches will teach drills specific to linebackers, defensive backs, defensive line, receivers, running backs, offensive line, and quarterbacks. These camps will focus on player development while providing opportunities for athletes to compete and become better football players. Competition will be created through drills and specific passing situations that will allow the campers to put their newly formed skills to the test.
