University of Minnesota 4-H Extension
Grades 4-5
Join Dakota County 4-H for a hands-on cooking class. Participants will learn cooking safety, basics, and how to prepare simple dishes. Examples could include, but aren't limited to fruit salsa, dips, omelets, and pizza. Skills learned include using a can opener, cracking and flipping eggs, and how to measure wet versus dry ingredients. Please list any food allergies when enrolling. Recipes will be handed out at the end of class. Encourage your child to make the dish to enjoy with your family and show off their skills!
