Rogue Robotics Programming Camp1- Academic, Health, & SafetyThe Rogue Robotics Programming Camp is a 3 day event aimed at introducing students grade 8-12 to the basics of programming through exciting and hands-on activities. Sponsored by Farmington High School’s Robotics team Rogue Robotics, and the University of Minnesota’s College of Science and Engineering, students will learn how to write code in C++, wire and program Arduino microcontrollers, and build a miniature robot that they will take home with them at the end of the camp. Photos will be color corrected and lightly edited. *This photo session is designed for our Farmington families who are in need of access to quality senior photos for an affordable price* By registering for this Photo Session you are agreeing to the below: HOLD HARMLESS AND RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION This Hold Harmless Agreement is by and between: Photographer and Photo Client Event/Session: FHS Senior Photo Session 1. Assumption of Risk: Client acknowledges that photography sessions may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, accidents, or property damage, that could occur during or as a result of the photography session. Client agrees to assume all such risks and responsibilities associated with the session. 2. Release of Liability: Client hereby releases and holds harmless the photographer, their agents, employees, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, actions, damages, or causes of action, including any injuries or damages to person or property, arising from or related to the photography session, regardless of whether the injury or damage was caused by the negligence or fault of the photographer. 3. Indemnification: Client agrees to indemnify and defend the photographer from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from any injury, damage, or loss that occurs during or as a result of the photography session. 4. Use of Images: Client grants the photographer permission to use photographs taken during the session for promotional, marketing, or portfolio purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, and print materials. If the Client does not wish to grant this permission, they must inform the photographer in writing prior to the session. 5. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of MN. Any legal action related to this Agreement shall be filed in the courts of MN. 6. Acknowledgment: By registering the Client acknowledges that they have read and fully understand the terms of this Hold Harmless Agreement. Special Olympics Minnesota - Flag Football (Ages 8+)Special Olympics MinnesotaSpecial Olympics Minnesota Participants Ages 8 and up Athletes Flag football provides players with physical exercise, self-discipline, and teamwork skills. Participants will also learn leadership and sportsmanship skills. Participants will be put in a division by Special Olympics Minnesota, based on ability level and age to give them a competitive experience. This sport also offers Individual Skills, which gives individual competition for all abilities a chance to compete and showcase the skills they are learning in that sport. Additional paperwork is required in order to participate in this sport. The Head of Delegation will reach out to athletes after registration with these forms. Unified Athletes This sport offers a Unified gameplay. Participants without intellectual disabilities can participate and compete on the same team. This is a voluntary role. Unified Athletes must complete a training found online, by clicking here. Unified Athletes 18 years and older are required to do a background check. Regionals and State Regional and State Competitions are optional for participants. More information will be shared at practice. In order to attend state, participants must compete in Regionals. Regionals will be held either September 7 or 8, on just one day, at the West St. Paul Sports Dome. State will be held October 11-13th, for two days (either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun), at M Health Sports Fairview Sports Center in Woodbury. **Program tuition price is subsidized with Special Olympics Minnesota Funding Special Olympics Minnesota offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round sports training and competitions. Summer Youth Horse Camps6- Other Sports & Recreation ProgramsCornerstone on the Vermillion Instructor: Michelle Michaud Ages 4-17 Do you love horses? Our camps are all horses, all the time! Spend time bonding with some incredible show horses. All abilities are welcome to join us for an action packed camp and learn western, English, and bareback riding, horsemanship, groundwork, and training. Participants begin their days with horsemanship skill development, followed by horse training. There will be a one hour lunch break to let the horses rest, and the youth! During this time youth can eat their lunch and enjoy free play with board games, books, and activity sheets. Connecting & partnering with the horses is emphasized throughout each day. Riding multiple horses throughout camp with emphasis on rider safety, core, seat and legs. Each day refreshing all skills learned the previous day. Our camps are coached to develop skills, connection & understanding of these magnificent animals. Please bring a bicycle helmet if you have one, otherwise riding helmets are provided. Participants should bring a bag lunch, water bottle, and snacks. The indoor riding facility is unheated, please dress accordingly. With classes held right at school, we teach the fundamentals using real equipment (all provided) and allow students to learn through interactive games, drills, and real matches. Students will also explore relevant academic concepts through gameplay while practicing life skills such as sportsmanship, integrity, and perseverance. TGA creates a safe environment and provides individualized attention, meeting each student where they are in their journey and progression. Our trained and verified coaches combine athletics, academics, and life lessons to create a fun and engaging program.
